About Me

Meet Tina Meyer, LMT

A Personal Journey

Tina Meyer is the visionary CEO and Founder of Inbodyment School of Integrated Therapies, where she combines her extensive knowledge and personal experience to provide exceptional healing therapies. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tina’s journey into the world of holistic health began with her own struggles and triumphs.

In the mid-1990s, Tina faced a significant challenge when she suffered a work-related back injury. This life-altering event led her to explore various rehabilitation techniques, one of which was soft tissue manipulation, commonly known as Massage Therapy. The remarkable benefits she experienced from these therapies ignited a passion within her, prompting her to become a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in 1996.

Tina’s dedication to understanding the intricacies of the body has driven her to study and master numerous therapeutic modalities, including Craniosacral Therapy, which focuses on the gentle manipulation of the cranial bones and the sacrum to enhance the body’s natural healing processes. She believes in the profound impact that these therapies can have on the musculoskeletal system and overall well-being.

Education and Expertise

Tina pursued her education at Ohio State University and continued her training in various approaches to massage therapy. Her studies have included:

  • Structural Alignment: Techniques to improve posture and alleviate discomfort.
  • Lymphatic Drainage: A gentle method aimed at promoting lymph flow and detoxification.
  • Reflexology: A practice that stimulates pressure points to restore balance throughout the body.
  • Craniosacral Therapy: A gentle, hands-on approach that supports the central nervous system and encourages the body’s healing.
  • Shiatsu: A form of Japanese massage that utilizes finger pressure on acupuncture points to promote energy flow.
  • Energy Balancing with Guided Meditation: Techniques designed to harmonize the body’s energy systems and facilitate deep relaxation.

With over 18 years of experience and more than 8,500 massage therapy sessions completed, Tina has honed her skills and continues to evolve as a practitioner. Her journey has taken her from being a massage therapist to a respected instructor at Heritage College in Denver and now at the Florida College of Natural Health in Sarasota, where she shares her passion for healing with students.
